Seriously, being a Steam user of many multiplayer games I can say some days I want to whap Valve with a switch (the tree twig not Nintendo). I have been playing TheIsland for almost a year now exclusively because I was not able to get into any of the DLC's. Basically the very first one that loaded with people in it. When I woke up I clicked the server in Ragnarok I have been trying to get into. But when I start up Steam client, it wont connect to the internet if Tunnelbear is running. I ran Tunnelbear and I can view the game store page. Wait for the installation to complete, then click on the ARK: Survival Evolved.

Idk why it was sitting there? Maybe it does that? Maybe cause I run Metered connect to prevent MS from forcing it's downloads at inconvenient times (game lag and disconnects). Fortunately, the team have implemented a workaround for you in addition to some other tips to avoid potential issues.
